Hey, I'm Matias.
I have been around cameras for as long as I can remember. My family always had a camera readily available to capture memories, and my grandfather owned a camera store. One of the most exciting days of my childhood was when I was gifted my first camera. Soon after, photography became one of the biggest joys in my life.
From grass-roots
beginnings.
I began my career in real estate photography. Through real estate photography I assisted realtors and realty companies in marketing their properties and themselves by shooting pictures of their properties and capturing headshots. After three years of real estate photography and learning to master my camera, I explored many creative avenues and eventually found my passion in sports photography.
Capturing athletes at peak performance.
I played baseball and soccer throughout my childhood, and I remember the adrenaline, happiness, and sense of community I felt during this time. I wish that I had more pictures of myself playing sports, as they are some of the fondest memories of my childhood. Although I am no longer the player on the field, sports photography allows me to experience the same feelings I had felt throughout my youth. My mission is to capture the priceless and memorable moments that are experienced by atheletes and enjoyed by fellow sports enthusiasts.
